In the year 2015 we were able to carry out one of the most desired projects in solidarity actions, inspired in one of the main pillars of the Jewish tradition: the “Tikun Olam” (fixing of the world). We opened Tikunea, a community dining room which aim is opening the doors of the community to people who are homeless or socially vulnerable.
Tikunea is a space we are proud of, as it started and continues with the effort of professionals, volunteers which cooperate daily with their time, willingness and enthusiasm to see this project grow.
Apart from giving lunch to the beneficiaries we seek one day we can create a supporting place with company assessing and recreation. Tikunea is for many their home, a meeting place, their ground wire, social place, training, and supporting. For many others Tikunea is the helping hand and the fonding heart which help people.
